Biography
Back in 1997 Heather Peace’s professional acting career was ignited by a loverly stint as Eliza Doolittle in ‘My Fair Lady’, she soon swapped the stage paint for the lights-camera-action of television, appearing in a variety of the box’s favourite shows, including STV’s Emmerdale and The Bill and BBC’s Dangerfield. Heather soon progressed to leading lady and went on to push the phallic boundaries in some major drama series including London’s Burning and Ultimate Force’s first female SAS member Becca Gallagher.
Last year Heather Peace set hearts alight with her performance as DS Sam Murray in BBC Three's Lip Service. However as well as acting, Heather has always had a passion for music. She started learning piano at the age of 6 and began singing and writing songs on her acoustic guitar at an early age. But despite continuing to write and sing in her spare time, the quick success of her acting career meant that her music has generally been kept on the back burner.
However the lady is about to strap on her white Gretch guitar and perform on her first ever full UK solo tour which will be the first opportunity for the majority of Heather's fans to hear songs from her album 'This Is Me' performed with a band. She will also be joined by singer songwriter Jill Jackson who will perform a special support set of her own from her new album ‘Back To Zero’
