Happy new year folks (well, it's a new year as I write this anyway).
The first Hapless Museum Worker fundraiser gig of 2017 will be headlined by the fantastic, Mercury Prize nominated singer/songwriter Kathryn Williams.
Originally from Liverpool, Kathryn has been based in Newcastle for a number of years and has released 11 albums through her own label, Caw Records, and One Little Indian Records.
She has collaborated with artists such as Ed Harcourt, Bombay Bicycle Club and Eliza Carthy.
In 2003 she was a guest on Never Mind The Buzzcocks and her songs have been used on U.S TV shows such as How I Met Your Mother, Weeds and C.S.I.
Support will by provided by talented local folk duo Sky Larkin. Great to see these wonderful people back in action.
Also supporting will be Moltisanti. Percy Hedley staff supergroup playing their debut gig.
This event will be wheelchair accessible. There is a lift to gain access to all floors of the venue. There is also a disabled toilet at the Cluny 2.
If you are a carer who is accompanying a disabled ticket holder, please message me or leave a message on this page for information on carer concessions.
The proceeds from this gig will be donated to Hedleys Able2, part of The Percy Hedley Foundation who have been providing services and promoting independence for people with disabilities for over 60 years.
Tickets will be £10 in advance through Seetickets or £14 on the door (if any left).
