Taking place in The Cluny and Cluny 2, as well as other venues in The Ouseburn Valley

On Sunday 21st October we’re bringing the Oxjam Newcastle Takeover to Ouseburn. We’ve lined up some of the region’s best bands, musicians and DJs, together with top live stand-up comedy, for an all-day festival to raise money for Oxfam. The money you help us raise really will change the lives of the world’s poorest people, by giving them hope, options and opportunities.

LIVE MUSIC (1pm-11pm)
At the Cluny, Cluny 2, Nancy’s Bordello, and the Tanners, plus a unique stage in the beautiful Church of St Ann, intimate acoustic sessions in Blast Studios, and Northern Soul DJ’s at The Tyne Bar. For those who want to continue the party, beats and live DJs at Nancy’s Bordello will run to 2am.

LIVE STAND UP COMEDY
Curated by Whallop Management, the team behind the Grinning Idiot Comedy Club. Featuring: David Hadingham, John Whale, George Zach, Cal Halbert, Andy Fury. Comedy will be held in St. Dominic’s Catholic Club (opposite the Tanners).

+ PRE-PARTY WITH PROPAGANDA (20/10/2012, 11pm) To get everyone in the party spirit, on Saturday 20th October anyone with a ticket for the Oxjam Newcastle Takeover will get £3 entry to Propaganda Newcastle at the O2 Academy from 11pm.
