Biography

We're delighted to announce the launch night for The Railway Club's debut single 'Broken Strings' (released through Tiny Lights on Monday 9th July 2012).

The Railway Club
http://www.therailwayclub.co.uk/
From the rainy, coastal town of South Shields and rising from the ashes of former folk-pop drunks rainfalldown, Martin Trollope, David Garrick, Richard Milburn, Glenn Coyne and Grant Lagan have formed The Railway Club. A blend of upbeat/downbeat, organised/disorganised, loose/tight, hot/cold, chamber-pop songs which have been well received locally - Generator

Natasha Haws

Natasha Haws creates captivating acoustic tales which belie her tender years. The 17 year old, who was discovered at a small buskers night in Cleadon, only began writing her own material in April of this year; incredibly surprising given the accomplished nature of her music. Stepping Stone is the perfect song to see in the onset of Autumn and its dark nights with its delicate warmth - Generator

Sparkling, angular guitars toll away in stark contrast to Piddock’s solemn tones before everything finally unravels in the urgent, shuddering breakdown - Abacus Post

Acrobatic Society
http://www.facebook.com/acrobaticsociety
Acrobatic Society are a post-punk outfit from Newcastle, who, after having one member run away & and another depart for a career in black metal journalism, finally found their new drummer as he tried to steal Sam’s shoes whilst holidaying in Turkey. Together the new line-up developed a more progressive sound, utilising brutal guitars, ferocious rhythm, and enticing strings, all held together by intricate melodies to make for an uncompromising sound and a hypnotic live act.

Also a DJ set from David Brewis of Field Music.
