Biography

Ruth Moody is the founding member of internationally renowned trio The Wailin' Jenny’s from Winnipeg, Canada. & The former lead singer of the roots band Scruj MacDuhk (The Duhks). She is also an artist of exceptional depth and grace in her own right. Critics have lauded her ethereal vocals, impressive multi-instrumentalism (she plays guitar, banjo, accordion, piano, and bodhrán), and her talent as a songwriter. Her songs are timeless, universal, and exceptionally well crafted, Ruth has just released her highly anticipated solo album “The Garden” on Red House Records.
