After years touring as part of punk outfit 'Random Hand' Joe returns to something more a kin to his family roots as a singer/songwriter with heavy folk influence. Joe's music echoes years of influence from his upbringing in and around the English folk scene with a fresh twist and energy provided by his own venture into punk over the last decade. Not a million miles away from the likes of Nick Drake and Damien Rice this is not likely to be what you're expecting if you're familiar with Random Hands music.

Modal Nodes
Modal Nodes are Heather Frances Davies and Tomas Shackleton, an acoustic duo based in Newcastle Upon Tyne. They recently reached the area final of the live and unsigned competition and came away with the winner of a slot at the annual Green Festival held in Leazes Park, Newcastle. Modal Nodes have played a large number of gigs in the area including a number of support slots at the O2 Academy.
